The Traveler's Sketch refill features MD paper which maintains a reputation a of having a high quality writing surface. The sheet color is ivory with a weight of 156gsm. There is a perforation line in each page, so once you finished drawing, you can pull off the page and use it as a post card as an option.
Since the thickness of the sketch paper is nearly twice as heavy as most of the refills, it is much easier to expand the use of various types of art media. Light washes of watercolor or ink will work without bleeding through the paper. As welll as rubber stamps and water-based pens. Fountain pens will still write smoothly on the sketch paper too. The paper is acid free.
On a side note, the Sketch refill contains less pages than the 80gsm refills. This will maintain the same profile with all your refills.
If using glue, a glue stick is recommended over liquid glue to help keep the paper surface remaining smooth.
