This intensive, three-hour workshop offers a deep and personal immersion into the art of sumi ink, reimagined through the lens of modern abstraction.  You will spend the first part of the session mastering fundamental brushwork techniques and exploring the nuanced effects of various ink densities by practicing the expressive, minimalist movements essential for conveying complex emotions and dynamic forms with confident strokes. The culmination of the workshop is the application of these skills to create a cohesive body of work. By the end of the three hours, you will have prepared a personalized portfolio of deeply expressive ink masterpieces, offering a unique, elegant collection that showcases your technical command and creative spontaneity.

She took classes at the Art Students League of New York, studying life drawing and storytelling. Drawn to both nature and technology, her years living in Palm Beach Gardens, Seattle, and San Francisco deepened her perception of culture through direct lived experience. She has served as an art docent at two elementary schools.
