A new companion has joined our lineup of original Hobonichi ballpoint pens featuring the white cat, a beloved character created by Yumi Kitagishi, an illustrator who has also been making a name for herself as a picture book author in recent years.
This time, the familiar white cat appears dressed in a bunny costume. Because the design is based on an original clay sculpture molded by Kitagishi herself, the finished figure carries the unique softness and warm charm of a handcrafted item.
The pink and blue-green color palette blends naturally with Kitagishi’s techo covers and Weeks designs. The body of the pen has Yumi Kitagishi’s logo and signature, along with the word HOBONICHI.
