Inspired by the handful of wildflower seeds that they haphazardly threw into their garden, this sampler celebrates flowers that grow every which way. The sample version uses backstitch and running stitch. The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like. Dropcloth Samplers are packaged in up-cycled packaging.

This Sampler measures approximately 8" x 9".
What thread should I use?
They use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.
How should I back my sampler?
For best results, they recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way.
What size hoops should I use?
They like a size 6—but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
