Stonehenge was created in 1974 specifically as a 100% cotton deckled paper for the printmaking community and also works wonderfully across a range of other fine art applications such as silkscreening. Over the last 40 years the range has expanded to include several new colors. Stonehenge continues to be made in the USA as a high quality affordable paper that never compromises fiber composition, archival properties and its suitability for multiple mediums.
Stonehenge rivals European mould made papers with its ability to produce excellent results in a variety of printmaking techniques. In addition to intaglio and silkscreening, Stonehenge works well with colored pencil, charcoal, pastels and watercolors.
