The Hobonichi Techo uses 12 soft colors across the book. The TSUKI no IRO stationery series incorporates these colors into simple designs.
This ink is a special collaboration made with Kakimori, a stationery shop that crafts fountain pens, inks, notebooks, and more, all created for “people who write with joy.”
Kakimori’s pigment ink is a water-based pigment ink that is water-resistant and resistant to fading even when exposed to light. It’s an ideal ink for writing down things you want to preserve for a long time, like a diary or journal.
The ink comes in a charming rounded bottle that, beyond its cute appearance, is designed at just the right height and with just the right stability to make filling a converter easy. The 20 mm opening, tilted at 8 degrees, is designed so that it is easy to insert delicate pen nibs.
This is an original TSUKI no IRO color created as a custom blend based on Kakimori’s ink. The color is a deep blue-gray inspired by the grid lines used on the monthly calendar and back pages of the Hobonichi Techo Original and Cousin books. It’s a color that blends naturally into the page.
We recommend shaking the pigment ink well before use and cleaning your writing instrument regularly after use. We hope it becomes a cherished companion as you quietly put your thoughts into words each day.
