Kaweco LILIPUT Fountain Pen, Copper

The fountain pen in copper should not be missing from any desk. It's a real jewel. Exquisite metals grant versatility, the copper will develop a unique patina over time.  The Lilliput is the smallest member of Kaweco's fountain pen lineup and takes standard international short ink cartridges. The threading on the end of the barrel allows the cap to be screwed on securely, bringing the pen to a comfortable, full-sized length while in use. Originally introduced in 1910, the Liliput was re-released in 2011.

Different nib sizes are available. While the extra fine nib (EF) is suitable for small, delicate handwriting.  For beginners, we recommend the nib size medium (M). All nibs are produced in Germany and are made of steel.  The pen comes with one blue ink cartridge.

Due to the softness of the raw copper finish, this pen may include scratches caused during the machining process. It also has a metallic scent that can transfer to the user's hand for a short time after use which is a characteristic of copper.

Note: The metal body of this pen can be corroded by prolonged contact with ink. Be sure to clean off any ink that gets onto the body of the pen's surface,  not recommended for use as an eyedropper pen.
