Diluting solution

The colorless diluting solution lets you adjust the tone of your ink to make it brighter, or more transparent. A small amount brightens the color, while adding more creates a lighter finish.

Some pens, particularly those with fine nibs, naturally produce lighter colors on the page. While the diluting solution can be used in any amount, keep in mind that diluting the ink too much may result in a fainter colour when used in your pen. Testing the ink using a similar line width to the pen you plan you use will give you the best indication of the final colour.
