Stars wind their way through a dense field of running stitches and potential rainbows. We used primarily back stitch, running stitch, and french knots. You can use your own favorite stitches to make this fun project your own. They used a combination of size 8 perle cotton and embroidery floss.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like. Dropcloth Samplers are packaged in up-cycled packaging.

This Sampler measures approximately 8" x 8".
What thread should I use?
We use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.
How should I back my sampler?
For best results, they recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way.
What size hoops should I use?
They like a size 6—but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
