Christmas Cookie ornaments! This collection features four of our favorites. Christmas Tree Sugar Cookies, frosted with french knots, candy canes decked out in chain stitch, snowflakes with beautiful satin stitched cinnamon candies, and last but not least, spritz cookies, their personal favorite. You can use the stitches we picked or your personal favorites. Like all of our holiday ornaments, these cookies look even better with a little sparkle. The sampler arrives preprinted on cotton quilting fabric, ready to stitch and includes basic instructions. You provide your own threads, needles, and hoop.
PLEASE NOTE: This item is not embroidered, but ready to be embroidered by YOU. The pictures show one way to fill in the design, but you can choose whatever colors/threads you like.
What size is it?
This Sampler measures approximately 12" x 12".
What thread should I use?
They use a combination of size 8 perle cotton and/or embroidery floss.
How should I back my sampler?
For best results, they recommend backing this fabric with a second piece of fabric (cotton or linen) before placing your fabric in the hoop. You'll get the flattest, most even stitches this way.
What size hoops should I use?
They like a size 6—but use whatever you hoop you have on hand.
